Let’s look into the woman third in line for the Presidency, and think if that is the type of person you would
want to be the President.  Myself, I want the President to be someone who is looking out for the American
people for the most part.  We can’t expect to find one who puts the people first all the time within the pool
we have to pull from, so let’s at least find the best of the lot.
On March 8, 2006 she voted against the National Uniformity for Food Act allowing the FDA (Food/Drug
Administration) to establish national food standards.  What is wrong with that?  I think it would be a good
thing for the government to say that foods that are harmful will not be acceptable.  So what did she find
offensive in that?
On July 29, 2006 she voted against the Death/Estate Tax and Minimum Wage Bill calling for the raising of
the exemptions of death tax up to $5 million and raising the minimum wage to $7.25.  Why would she vote
against that?  Maybe she knows it’s better for the country not to raise the mandatory minimum wage as it
will cost many people their jobs.  More likely though she is more adamant about getting the taxes covered
by raising the exemptions, from all I’ve seen and heard of her and her belief in raising taxes.
On April 26, 2001 she voted against the Unborn Victim of Violence Act that held an attacker accountable
for the life of the fetus when attacking a pregnant woman.  Where is that wrong?  If a woman wants her
child shouldn’t that life be protected from murder the same as it would upon birth?  In the eyes of Nancy
Pelosi, apparently not, as she voted for it not to be considered a separate crime, when the most likely way
for a woman to die during pregnancy is by murder.  I guess she thinks Scott Peterson should only do the
time for killing Lacy not for the beautiful boy whose life he also took.
On September 16, 1998 she voted against the Illegal Drug Amendment allowing the Armed Forces to
assist INS in order to fight against the entrance of illegal drugs into our country.  I guess she voted for all
the constituents in her district when she voted to keep them stocked in supply rather than hinder their
ability to obtain their shipments.  Has anyone checked into who donates to her campaigns?
Oh, and you are going to love this one.  She voted against the Eminent Domain Amendment on June 30,
2005 which prohibits use of federal funds in the issue of eminent domain for the purpose of generating tax
revenue or private gain.  I guess that says it all about how she feels about your right to own your own
home, that is, if it comes to the issue of whether someone else can make a buck out of your land.
From what I can tell, Nancy Pelosi is for taxes being raised, her pay being raised, her personal jet use,
making abortion legal to the point that the parents aren’t the only one with the right to make that choice,
letting the drugs in, and taking your home away if it serves her and her cronies.  Well, does any of that
sound like she’s any part of out for the American people?  Unless, of course, you like to beat up on
pregnant women or want to bring drugs into the US or build some resort where there are already some
homes full of people that just so happen to want to keep them.
Let’s wake up, America, and start paying attention to what it really going on in Washington.  And you
were worried about the goings on at the UN!
Our Speaker of
the House,
Nancy Pelosi
