After The Primary

Well, our Primary has come and gone in Texas and I have to say that I don’t agree with some of the
candidates chosen and in some cases I just plain don’t understand it.
Everywhere I go, in person or over the internet, I talk to people and hear many people complain
about the government not doing anything about illegal immigration, saying they don’t want the illegals to
get amnesty and that they want the fence.  I hear people talk about the TTC (Trans Texas Corridor)
and/or NAFTA Superhighway consistently, and who wouldn’t when the government is trying to take away
land, homes, and businesses from Americans and deliver all of that land over a Spanish company to
build toll roads (yes, that is meant to be plural, there isn’t just one, it is a whole network), at which point
we will have to pay them for the right to travel over the land our soldiers have shed blood to protect from
invasion.  I have heard people complain that their taxes are too high, that the government interferes in
our lives too much, and I’ve heard many complain about the constant threats to our right to bear arms
as the Second Amendment clearly states.
So, where were all of those people yesterday?  Did you all stay home?  Or did you go and vote
without researching who you were voting for?  Or was I wrong in believing that the American people want
to remain a sovereign and free country, with the rights we are given under the Constitution, and expect
our government to behave as it was designed—for, we, the people, and by, we, the people?  Either way
the Primaries indicate that the majority cares more for high taxes, more illegals coming for the amnesty
they’ll be getting, more entitlement programs for illegals, no fence, a Superhighway tearing up the
country for the benefit of foreigners, and more government interference in your life including your
medical care.
No matter what you voted yesterday and no matter what you think you may want in November, there
is two things you need to do before that day gets here.  You need to decide what is important to you and
then find out which candidates agree with you on most, if not all of the issues you think are important.
And, don’t forget about national security because if you do, you can be assured our government will too
and then where will your children and grandchildren be?
