This morning, at nine o’clock, Cassandra Harwood, the
assistant district attorney, was expected to be out front of
the courthouse with her boss, District Attorney George
Dennison, for a press conference with Mayor Harold

It had been three months since the discovery of the
first three bodies. Since then there had been four more
